Mr. James "Buford" Tune 

 

 

 

Buford started A.P.P.S. in 1992 with the idea of bringing his 23 years of experience with the Metro Nashville Police Dept. to the private security industry.

 

Buford felt there was little to no training for unarmed or armed security guards in Tennessee, but knew it was needed along with personal handgun carry education.

 

Buford developed curriculum year after year for the security industry & A.P.P.S. to further the field in the threats of today. 

 

He has developed many long lasting relationships in the community and our industry and will be sadly missed by all that knew him. 

 

Buford leaves behind his wonderful wife "Judy" who helped him build the business throughout the years along with their daughter Stacey and son Chris.
