Academy of Personal Protection and Security offers complete ink  fingerprinting services designed to provide authorized businesses and governmental agencies with the capability to obtain fingerprint-based criminal history checks for job applicants and licensees. A.P.P.S. services are designed to provide customers with fast, simple, convenient, and professional fingerprinting experience. The Ink Fingerprinting can be mobile and come to your location as well. Call A.P.P.S. for cost and information.
  • Ink Finger Print Cards (up three cards per person)  $25.00
  • For each Additional card over the original three        $5.00

A.P.P.S. can also take your picture for your license or agency needs.     Photos (four pictures)   $10.00

  • VALID state ID from any U.S. state or territory
  • Passport from any country
  • U.S. Active Duty/Retiree/Reservist Military ID Card (000 10-2)

If you do not have one of the forms of I.D. listed above you can provide a secondary form of I.D. accompanied by TWO supporting documents

(formerly L-1 Identity Solutions) Electronic Fingerprinting location for Tennessee Applicant Processing Centers (TAPS).

To be electronically fingerprinted YOU MUST register for an appointment at:

  • If registering online, enter required information by selecting your licensing agency, applicant type, and entering the licensing agency ORI number, and Provider I.D. Number (if applicable).
  • If calling 1-855-226-2937, operators will collect required information and schedule your appointment.
  • If you do not pay for your fingerprinting online or by calling the Morpho Trust call center, we will only accept a cashier's check or money order in the exact amount of payment before you are fingerprinted.
  • You MUST bring approved identification documents with you to the appointment. Government issued Photo Identification is required!
